Crystal Ice is a Clearwater company, serving Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties. We have been taking care of Tampa Bay ice machines for more than 30 years, since 1992. If you run a kitchen on Cleveland Street downtown, along Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, off US-19 or up in Countryside, you are close to our home base. We come to your business; there is no storefront or walk-in service.
What Clearwater kitchens call us for
Standard scheduled PM is every 6 months. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions and clean sooner if conditions warrant. High-volume bars and coastal kitchens may need more frequent service, assessed individually; that is not a blanket legal interval or an included quarterly rental schedule.
- Rentals: from $160/month for machine, installation, scheduled PM and repair parts/labor. Two months paid up front, then month-to-month with no long-term contract.
- Cleanings: $295/visit, or standard scheduled PM included with rental. Deep sanitizing, scale removal, mechanical inspection, filter check and service paperwork.
- Repairs: request a written repair quote. Repair work has a 90-day warranty. We work on Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, Scotsman and Ice-O-Matic.
- Sales: if you prefer ownership, ask us to assess equipment suitability and provide a written equipment quote with delivery, installation and training scope.
Two Clearwaters, two kinds of wear
Your machine faces different conditions on either side of the causeway. Inland along US-19 and Gulf-to-Bay, grease, dust and hard-water deposits can collect on condensers and evaporators. On Clearwater Beach, Island Estates and Sand Key, salty, humid air can accelerate corrosion of coils and metal parts. Coastal cleaning needs deserve an individual assessment.
