Commercial Ice Machine Rental in Seminole Heights

Rental from $160/month · PM $295/visit · For repairs, request a written repair quote

Restaurant dining room with tables set for service

Seminole Heights grew one storefront at a time. Small, owner-run kitchens, cafés and taprooms along Florida Avenue, Nebraska Avenue and side streets near the Hillsborough River often occupy buildings not designed as restaurants. Assessing the space and peak demand is especially important for their ice equipment.

    The independent operator’s problem

When you are the owner, chef and person handling maintenance, a failing machine takes time away from service. Diagnosis, parts and a contingency ice supply need planning. Renting covers scheduled service and repair costs, not a guarantee against disruption.

Rental starts at $160/month and includes the machine, installation, standard scheduled PM every 6 months and repair parts/labor. Two months are paid up front, then it is month-to-month. No setup or installation fee; free pickup on cancellation. If repair becomes unsuitable, discuss replacement arrangements and availability; no guaranteed replacement or uninterrupted ice.

We start with a free on-site assessment and put your equipment scope and price in writing before installation.

    Older spaces, honest sizing

Converted bungalows and mid-century storefronts can have limited drain access, tight back rooms and older electrical arrangements. We assess these before recommending a configuration. Discuss compact, undercounter or bin options and their suitability during assessment; a specific model is not promised. If our equipment is not suitable for the space, we will explain the constraints.

Taprooms and coffee bars use ice differently

A taproom may use ice for cocktails while a coffee bar needs it through the afternoon for cold brew and iced drinks. Assess each use rather than sizing them alike. Cloudy cubes or slow production can warrant cleaning, water or equipment assessment.

PM costs $295/visit on a machine you own; standard scheduled PM is included with rental. A visit includes deep sanitizing of water-contact surfaces, scale removal, a mechanical inspection, a filter check and service paperwork. Standard scheduled PM is every 6 months. Follow manufacturer instructions and clean sooner if conditions warrant; more frequent needs are assessed individually. Paperwork documents maintenance, not a guaranteed inspection result.

Discuss filtration suitability and scope during assessment rather than relying on a fixed add-on price.

    Own your machine already?

We repair Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, Scotsman and Ice-O-Matic commercial ice machines, including machines we did not install.

For repairs, request a written repair quote before work. Repair work carries a 90-day warranty. Rental repair parts and labor are included.

    Scheduling in the Heights

We are based in Clearwater. Seminole Heights connects to Tampa via I-275 near downtown and Ybor, but that does not establish a route day or response time. Contact us during business hours to confirm scheduling/availability. Our office is open Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, closed weekends.
