Sizing for the surge, not the average
On a free assessment, discuss your busiest night, storage capacity, production recovery and how ice is used. We assess a suitable machine and bin configuration and confirm availability and scope in writing. A larger bin is not a guaranteed solution, a fixed-price upgrade or necessarily cheaper than another machine.
Leasing in a new building
Water Street and Channelside spaces can have modern plumbing and exacting design specifications. Compare renting with a written equipment-purchase quote; assess drain, water, power and access before finalizing the plan.
Rental starts at $160/month, with the machine, installation, standard scheduled PM every 6 months and repair parts/labor included. Two months are paid up front, then it is month-to-month. No setup or installation fee; free pickup on cancellation. If repair becomes unsuitable, discuss replacement arrangements and availability; a guaranteed replacement or uninterrupted ice is not promised.
Five or more rental units receive 10% off; ten or more receive 15% off. Confirm equipment and final price after assessment.
Hotels, catering and back-of-house
Banquet kitchens, rooftop bars and catering operations may have machines on multiple floors. Discuss coordinated maintenance, access and administrative needs during assessment; a single schedule or invoice format is not assumed.
PM costs $295/visit for a machine you own; standard scheduled PM is included with rental. A visit includes deep sanitizing of water-contact surfaces, scale removal, a mechanical inspection, a filter check and service paperwork. Standard scheduled PM is every 6 months. Follow manufacturer instructions and clean sooner if conditions warrant; coastal, high-use and healthcare needs are assessed individually. Paperwork documents maintenance, not a guaranteed inspection result.
Repairs for machines you own
We repair Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, Scotsman and Ice-O-Matic commercial ice machines, including machines we did not install.
This includes equipment installed by a building contractor or inherited from a previous tenant, subject to assessment. For repairs, request a written repair quote before work. Repair work carries a 90-day warranty. Rental repair parts and labor are included. The written quote establishes scope and terms; no fixed component price, parts-at-cost arrangement or automatic free-return promise applies.
Plan around the calendar
Contact us during business hours to confirm scheduling/availability. Our office is open Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, closed weekends. No fixed route day or local arrival window is promised.
Request cleaning or assessment ahead of major events and confirm the actual appointment. Tell us about loading docks, garage access and parking requirements when you call. Plan your own ice contingency during service; no weekend dispatch or uninterrupted supply is promised.
